Disaster Preparedness Online Game

Ok, so one of the awesome things I found while taking a break from reading about the law, I ran across on Tulare County, California’s OEM webpage to get kids interested and teach them a little about emergency preparedness. If this had been out when I was earning my Emergency Preparedness merit badge in Boy Scouts, it may have been a little more exciting.

Even if you’re an adult, take a shot at the game. It might feel cheesy but the information they are putting out in the game is very much on point. My hat goes off to the game’s developers (and Tulare County) for having this innovative approach to getting our next generation aware and ready to respond to an emergency or disaster situation.
